what a feast. went to eat authentic japanese ramen and it's super yummy! the boss is a japanese! :) durian pancakes and rum and raisin ice cream (though it's not me who eat) after that.

2 weird men who knocked onto me intentionally, and whom turned back, and laughed loudly at me. unfortunately, we had a coincidental meeting at the ice cream stall again. my friend said they recognised me and laughed hard again. like what the hell, all these strange things keep happening...

probably i should be more confident about myself since someone commented i dressed like a dumpling. wah. the first time someone commented that there is something wrong with my fashion sense. nothing's very wrong right? damn.

10,000 BC. what should i say? it's an imagination of humans about our past and very inspiring indeed. a simple story about love and life and God. probably a little mythical, so i'd think it's just a so-so movie. =P

do i dress up like a rice dumpling? =p

dim sum at mayim(westmall)! :) it's special! makes me drool just to think of them even during blogging!!!

it's a really different bun. the norm would be the bun with a sweet layering on top, but there's peanut inside this bun! a steer from the traditional bun.


this bun is crispy! it looks just like a normal bao, but it's crispy on the outside with tasty chicken filling. :)


i swear this is a must-try dim sum in mayim. it's even better than crystal jade's and they put it in small aluminium cups such that even when the juice oozes out(which it always does), you can still drink it!!! the skin is not too hard, not too soft, but just nice!!! :D

mayim's vermicelli rice rolls are also unique! i don't know how they do it, but they just manage to stuff chinese fritters and spring roll inside the skin without tearing it! i didn't believe they could do it until i saw it for myself! the taste is heavenly too! i suppose the vermicelli rolls bring down the smell of oils which do not make me feel guilty, but left me yearning for more! :)

YUM! YUM! for all dessert lovers, the best dessert voted by me! the mango pudding is superb!

IT'S MOVIE TIME!

spiderwick chronicles had fantastic effects and i especially like the beautiful scenes of the nature. total beauty! plot was well paced and to the point. but the story ended quite anti-climax, where the ogre, which had transformed into an eagle to save the field's guide, was eaten by a random pig! aw.

it's jane's belated birthday celebration!


we went to have dinner at the soup spoon. it's indeed SOUP spoon. ha! i chose the conventional mushroom soup and it's fabulous, although a little on the pricey edge. the bread had spice in it! the taste is amazing but fay doesn't like it! :(


we went to the new mind's cafe outlet at purvis street too. nice ambience with lively staff who know how to teach us how to play the games. word games seem to evoke some challenge... i shall memorise my world map and increase my vocabulary for the next round of I KNOW IT! ha!

and the best part!! JANE DIDN'T KNOW THE CLIPBOARD WAS HANDMADE UNTIL WE TOLD HER! *smug* ok! i shall maintain a little poise here! but nonetheless, MUAHAHAHAHA!

i've spent the whole day trying to make the clipboard perfect as jane's 2oth birthday present. not so much of a beauty, but truly and sincerely make with love! some snapshots on the present. i have to admit it's not the best i could do, but oh well, lack of time...

i so like the metal flower charm albeit it has brought me lots of inconvenience. the beads dangle like jane's pretty 20th life, blooming with life!! muahaha!!! :D

haha! :D eugene gave me these 2 cute things. he arranged the cute things on the table and said it's a gift for me! another gave me a bar of chocolates. :) my mum said, "it's usually the teacher who coaxed the kids, how come the kids are coaxing you?" :P

the joy of teaching.

心情跌入谷底。为什么在考试的我还去教补习呢？书都已经读不完了，还坚持去帮别人，忘了自己！可是，那是一种不能推卸的责任，尤其当补习中心的人告诉我，我的班里全部的人都考不及格，好内疚，又好失望。是自己的错，还是考试真的太难了？

再加上自己的考试考得一团糟，所以有点失落。我想，这是我这一生中读得最多的一次了，可是还是没读完。就连‘A’水准时，我都没有那么拼。应该说，我从以前就很怠惰。突然看到了身旁的人那么努力，我应该努力了吧？更何况，今年真的不一样，从来都没有人叫我读书。从来都没有。就连中学和高中，都是自己读自己的，虽然口头上鼓励彼此，却总是有那种竞争，难免的不希望彼此做好，所以都只有那种十分肤浅的激励。今年不一样。

聊了很多。他们去了中国，我会死掉吧？这半年来，他们教我很多，教我怎么想，教我怎么处理事情，教我不要那么感情用事，听我发牢骚，逗我笑。今晚，像泼出去的水一样，一发不可收拾，心里的话都说出来了。有一种想哭的感觉，又有一种害怕的感觉。心情跌入谷底。

生活乏味。最讨厌考试期间塞了一段‘小假期’给我。最终，我会把它变成一个大假期！
